This occasion allows us to make full use of the press and media coverage promoting human equality, religious freedom and social justice, as well as appealing to the Government of Pakistan for:

-Equal and elected representation of Religious Minorities in all political forums of the country, from the present 10 reserved seats in the National to be increased to 17-18 for Religious Minorities.
-All the clauses of the Pakistan's constitution, which do not allow Religious Minorities their right to enjoy equal citizenship throughout all levels of society, must be removed especially with regard to the highest position of the State that currently states the position cannot be held by a non-Muslim.
-The electoral system must ensure equal and elected representation of Religious Minorities; as presently there is a selected system, with the proposed a dual vote system for Religious Minorities in the country.

A recent partnership was established between the Shahbaz Bhatti Memorial Trust (SBMT) and Pharos Observatory (France) who seek to support cultural and religious pluralism. This project was funded by the European Commission and will continue for three years.
Lesley-Anne supports this partnership in its efforts to support religious freedom in Pakistan. In August 2016 a workshop was held in Islamabad on Cultural and Religious Pluralism and invitees were Religious and Political leaders and activists representing different marginalised target groups throughout Pakistan. Pharos Observatory, Mr. Vincent Picard (General Secretary) and Mr. Olivier Louis (Researcher) were present, as well as other participating leaders like, Dr Paul Bhatti (SBMT), Prof. Dr M. Khalid Masood (Judge of Sharia Court and Former Chairman of Islamic Ideology Council), Mr Arjun G (Hindu Social Activist since 30 years, involved in interfaith dialogue initiatives), Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad (Muslim Religious Leader Khateeb Badshahi [Red] Mosque), Dr Alexander Malik (Retired Bishop Church of Pakistan, Human Rights Activist), were involved in Inter Religious Dialogue and Relationship Initiatives.
In November 2016 Lesley-Anne participated in the 6th World Peace Forum, Countering Violent Extremism: Human Dignity, Global Injustice, and Collective Responsibility, in Jakarta, Indonesia
