Holy Given: Armavir International School of Missions
Armavir, Russia
Week 5: 6 July - 12 July, 2009

The students were impacted by a visit and testimony from the first believer in an unreached people group in the Northern Caucasus. The young woman imparted the heart of God and the desire to reach not only her own people group but many others as well. She also gave really clear teaching on how to hear God’s voice, which lead to people being set free from the lies of the enemy they had been listening to. A local Russian missionary working in a war zone came and shared his testimony of how he had been dying after a collapsed lung and how God had given him 2 new lungs.

The presence of God increased even more during the week, and even more joy hit us. We have had fun doing all sorts of different types of dancing, many people were set free from chains holding them back. A new teacher from the USA brought a lot more joy as he taught us to be joyful missionaries and how to get filled up. Many were laughing on the floor in the meeting room, in the kitchen and everywhere.

One morning we prayer walked the neighbourhood, listening to God’s heart and praying as he led us. There was teaching on the importance of worship and intercession as a key to reaching the nations. We had a couple of wonderful soaking worship nights with a South African worship leader and many had deep encounters with the Lord.
